TSoD opened my eyes ….
Joyce DeBroux, Readers’ Book Emporium (Rocky Mount, NC) May 11, 2007
Wow! The Scar of David. Lyrical and melodical in it’s language, amazingly insightful and beautiful in it’s story, this was a book that haunts you even in your dreams. TSoD opened my eyes to view the Palestinian’s as HUMAN beings and their plight as a HUMAN plight. Their experiences are not as foreign as we like to think, if we think about them at all. The Scar Of David is a necessary although fictional account of a family torn apart but not decimated by a war that should never have begun. I loved the other side of the story - because there are 2 sides to every story. We only ever get the Jewish viewpoint which is wrong and totally unfair. I highly recommend this book as a piece of truth to oppose all of the propaganda reported by the government and national news. The world has a right to know the depths of human vileness that any given group is capable of delivering. Thanks for sharing this story/history with us.
